935k Martini: Porsche designer Norbert Singer then spotted a loophole in the regulations which allowed the standard 911 nose to be replaced by the shovel-like ‘Flachbau’ and suddenly the 935 was transformed. In three seasons the Martini Porsche 935s had won nine races before the cars were wheeled in to the factory museum in 1979. Yet thanks to Kremer, whose cars had proven almost as fast and far more reliable, the 935 was about to take off into history.
